My face is going to need all day to thaw out after this menthol bombardment - the Glacial Spearmint soap’s awesome scent filled my bathroom while I was lathering up and shaving, the menthol sensation was killer cold, and the postshave feeling was wonderful. The matching balm has no shortage of menthol either, it smells exactly like the soap, and it’s so soothing as well as moisturizing, the Frosted Spearmint aftershave is another menthol atom bomb with the same delightful spearmint scent, and finally the beautiful Aramis fragrance to finish off. Three glorious passes gave me a most delightful BBS shave which I enjoyed immensely!

Razor : Yaqi Flipside dual comb SB- Mfg 2019>, mid + milder comb side range. First dual comb SB and it works excellent for close comfortable shaves. Interesting design and won this razor in a Yaqi live sale last year + it shaves very well. Had a close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : GSB (3) sharp and smoooth with reasonable longevity. Top tier blade.
Soap : Ach Brito Lavanda, nice mild Lavanda with a slight scent of mint also to me + excellent lather qualities for protection.
Brush : Yaqi "Cola" 22 mm Plissoft style synthetic knot , excellent lather generator, soft cloud like tips, good back bone for scrubbing + excellent lather painter. I always wondered why Yaqi never put a 22mm 2band badger in this beautiful handle.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ach Brito Lavanda cologne AS with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + 1 weeper= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi flipside dual SB & open comb with a GSB blade.

Cold wet flannel to my face.
Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Lider Turkish Boar.
Face Lather.
Blade: Gillette London Bridge. (D2)
Lather: Arko Shave Stick.
Razor: FaTip Grande.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Gummy Traditional Turkish Tobacco Cologne./ Aloe Vera Gel.

A relaxing Turkish theme Sunday morning shave.

As always the humble Arko shave stick provide a slick protective lather in a short space of time.

I've mentioned many times in my posting that I take into consideration why some people have a love/ hate opinions on the scent of Arko & derby shave sticks, even though both are great performing soaps some people can't/won't shave with them purely because of their scent, to my nose both soaps have a 'Clean scent' which I don't have any issues with besides that, once I've done my final cold water face rinse I find the scent has virtually disappeared. I also count myself very fortunate to have a skin type that hasn't had a adverse-reaction to any of the shaving soaps and creams that I've used to date.

A enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups comfortable shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Aloe Vera Gel.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

Although the Astra Green blade is pretty much at the end of the road it gave me one last hoorah with a great, comfortable two pass shave that I could and would classify as BBS. I enjoyed the Vintage Spice soap’s beautiful Shulton Old Spice scent so much, as well as the thick, rich, slick, protective lather. The Aveeno moisturizer felt so soothing, and the Vintage Spice aftershave went on with no burning or stinging, and the scent is so delightful - just like the Shulton Old Spice. What a great shave I had - tomorrow morning, a new blade!
