This Brick soap is from the Netherlands and it’s a house brand of a barbershop over there. The owner apparently doesn’t want to put it on the market and he keeps it for himself and for his customers. It’s got a beautiful barbershop scent with thick, rich, creamy lather that has plenty of slickness, and it leaves a comfortable postshave feeling. A friend of mine in the Netherlands sent it to me along with a bunch of other nice Dutch stuff. The Proraso Blue balm is so moisturizing as well as soothing, and the Max Disinfecting aftershave from Bulgaria stings like a bugger for a couple of seconds but then it feels great. Finally the gorgeous Bleu de Chanel fragrance and I’m good to go. Three glorious passes gave me a dynamite BBS shave that was so much fun!

The Tabac Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #2 Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gem Flying Wing and Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel and then Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Razor : Yaqi "TFC" adjustable razor- Mfg 2021>, all ranges of blade feel. Well designed razor that uses some of the Gibbs 1930's adjusting spring mechanism design but takes standard Gillette blade specs. I find this razor to work well for myself (setting 2 or 3) and had a stellar comfortable close shave this morning.
Blade : Gillette Nacet (3) sharp and smooth with great longevity. Top tier blade.
Soap : Razorock Irish Country side, nice scented soap(Irish Creed) with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Rainbow" 26mm brown whiskers synthetic knot. Excellent lather generator, luxury cloud like soft tips, Nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. Great brush for folks with large hands.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock Irish Countryside splash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning with my Yaqi TFC adjustable with a Gillette Nacet blade.
