Machining and finish QC are excellent and gives a great shave for the last 2.8 years. Had a great shave this morning! Blade : Gillette Nacet (4) sharp and smooth with excellent longevity. Top tier blade. Soap : Razorock Irish Countryside, nice interesting scent(Irish creed similarity) + excellent lather qualities. Brush : Yaqi " Artic sky" 24mm 3bband silvertip badger. Excellent lather generator, Luxury pillow like soft tips, Gentle splay scrubber + great lather painter. Excellent overall brush for my shaving needs. Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area. Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups. Post shave : Razorock Irish Countryside:001_wub: splash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless). Results : 1-10 dial - Copy (2)2 template 10.1.jpg or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers=:a17: Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my RR Lupo.72 razor with a Gillette Nacet blade. Thursday's Cold Water Shave Cold Water Rinse Derby Shave Soap Stick Jayaruh #2 Badger Gem Flying Wing Personna GEM SS PTFE CWR Dickinson's Witch Hazel Lilac Vegetal The Derby Shave Soap Stick lathered well with the Jayaruh #2 Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gem Flying Wing and Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. Thursday morning: L’Oréal Men Expert Facial Wash Razorock 26mm Monster Super Speed/7 AM day 11 Lider Classic SC Aveeno Moisturizer Hega AS Splash Aramis EdT I somehow overslept so when I got up I showered fast and I grabbed the first thing in front of me which was this Lider Classic cream which is from Poland and very, very nice. I’ve had this cream for a really long time and for some reason I neglected it so this morning I decided to give it a spin. It has a lovely lemony scent with perhaps a hint of mint, it gives fabulous lather from just a small dab on both cheeks, and it leaves a very comfortable postshave feeling. The Aveeno moisturizer and the Hega aftershave from Sweden were a great finish, and the beautiful Aramis fragrance topped it all off. DE SOTD, Thursday, October 26th 2023 Razor : Yaqi V1 Sentinel 1.5mm with a Yaqi Chippendale (Darwin looking) 316SSP handle- Mfg 2022>, mild range. Machining and finish QC OK. Very nice razor to use for those days when you would like just a DFS IMO. Designed very similar to the Personna BBS0 or LAS BBS1 & Wolfman W2. Blade : Treet SS Platinum (1) milder sharp + smooth. First use in a mild razor and the it worked reasonably well. I will try the next shave with this blade in a mid range razor. Had a DFS this morning. Soap : Proraso green, nice scent of eucalyptus with a touch of menthol + excellent lather qualities. Brush : Yaqi "Mysterious space" 24mm Timberwolf knot. Excellent lather generator, luxury cloud like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area. Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups. Post shave : Proraso green splash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
