    image0.jpeg image2.jpeg Hi
I need some help with this razor if there is anyone out there that has seen this before. I know the history of Elliot’s razor factories but I have never seen this Masonic etched blade before ! Has anyone ran across one of these? What years would they have been made and would it be worth more or less with image0.jpeg Masonic symbols??? I’m including some pics

Looks good, and is rare. It is always worth more with the Masonic Symbols left on it, intact. Do not try to restore it yourself, unless you've done it before. The etching is delicate. The scales are also in need of replacing, by a professional.

Someone is offering to buy it from me and I have no idea what this is worth ? I mean how would I know if he is offering me a fair price?

I search used razor values on eBay. Of course only the seller and buyer can agree what a "fair price" is.

We are not a forum to evaluate the price of a razor, to be resold. Look it up on past sales, on ebay, and see if it is in your ballpark.

After a closer look, and some research on the internet, my Google Fu has me convinced there is a good chance it is a fake. The symbols, and the arrangement of the symbols, are almost identical to the fake stuff put out from Pakistan. There have been a rash of fakes on the internet over the last few years. It seems most are using the same print, and etching method.
Plus, I've not seen a Joseph Elliott with that.on it before. For the etching on the blade to be.so intact, yet the rest of the blade and scales visibly eaten with rust marks tells me the blade was probably sanded, and polished, then the etching pattern applied. Then again, what do I know.
I see you have already listed it on ebay.

You've given him good information, Scott. He just wants to turn a buck.
