SE Shave # 357 - DECLARATION GROOMING MONDAY - Darkfall

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Gem Feather
    Blade: GEM Stainless
Brush: PAA The Green Ray 24 mm
    Lather: Declaration Grooming Darkfall
    Aftershave: Declaration Grooming Darkfall
    Additional Care:
Declaration Grooming Aftershave Liniment - Darkfall
    Omega Alum
    Dickenson’s Original Witch Hazel

I am sticking with my Darkfall software throughout the Fall or at least until I head to the Southern Den for the construction project around mid December. Perfecto Autumn scent.

Another three pass shave with a GEM razor, Feather, which admirably took the place of the MMBT. No worries, next week the MMBT or the MMOC, will perform the shave. My cheeks are still BBS even after 8 hours post shave. The shave was error free and I was treated to a nonexistent alum report.

I spent about an hour in this gorgeous Autumn weather raking leaves. Such an invigorating activity with the scent of the fallen leaves and the accentuating properties of the Darkfall aftershave. Just downright fantastic.

Hope you all had a great day gentlemen.

    Good afternoon.

    Rockwell Model T v1. (4)
Gillette Wilkinson Sword DE Blade (1 and 2)
    Rockwell Synthetic Brush
    Tabac Shave Stick
    Stirling Alum Block
    Modessa Witch Hazel
    Beard Growth: 25.5 hrs
    Dome Turf: 3+ days

    20231106_173747.jpg

I decided to make an easy shaving session and decided to use my Tabac Shave Stick by applying it in my face and then my dome to just do a face lather. I just love the Tabac scent. Sorry, no lather shots today. Lol! The Model T on setting 4 is perfect for me. I have used setting 5 and 6 many times, but when I tried the no. 4 setting, I was like amazed. I like aggressive razors, but on 4 I don't have to think about it and I still get a great shave.

I only needed 2 passes for the face and 3 for the dome. I got a BBS shave all around without any red liquid surfacing my skin.
I had some feedback on the dome, but not so much on the neck and face area. Witch hazel and then the Pinaud-Clubman Classic aftershave were applied, respectively. I was pleased with this session. The next 2 days will be straight shaves. I'm not sure what straight razor gets the call. Take care.
  11. NB24???? I'm pondering it.

  12. Well ladies and gentlemen! I have an announcement! I just finished texting our Marine Lance Corporal Myles Wilson and he gave me permission to share this. I wanted him to do it, but he said he would forget to do so. Well here is the news:
Myles married his sweetheart last month. I told him that he moves really fast. Since graduating high school, he joined the Marines, went to Norway and got married. All this in 2 1/2 years. I told him that this 68 yr old guy hasn't done any of those things. Well, I was 4 F so I couldn't go in the military. Lol! I am just happy for him. So there you have it. Myles has been a busy guy.

  16. Another great day of shaves, reports and pics, gents!

Joe @JACarbone - now that the snow has temporarily melted again here, I have a pile of leaves in my front yard to truck to my back compost heap. I figure about 30 trips with the lawn cart should do it...
