ANY soap and aftershave of YOUR choosing. NO BUY for the entire calendar year 2024. Accept the challenge or not?
Oh, I accept. I just was unfamiliar with "stank"(although I've seen it many times, mainly from you and Mr. Cawtuh).
What size do you wear and what's your favorite color, Paul? I'll get you fixed up on my next cross-country adventure. Unlike mean 'ole @Primotenore, I'll get it to you before you complete NB24.
Size-Long,Favorite Color-Blue. That's nice to have it prior to completion of 2024, but I expect to keep going all the way.
Day 12 November 17th Occam’s DE w PermaSharp (5) Stirling Silvertip/ Maple Mike’s Orange, Cedar and Pepper Thayers Maol Heliopteris I have had a very good week with the Occam’s. I’ll move onto another shaver tomorrow. The focus? More of the same- a simple, quality product. Have a good weekend all.
Last week was insanely busy, finaly it is Saturday. This week's brush theme was TSD related brushes. Five days straight with Tabac and I am getting spoiled by the performance, sadly there are no Piggly Wiggly stores in Korea. Today I went for some variety, MdC with a dash of lanolin.

Thursday, November 16 Mike's Vetiver~~Simpson T3~~Feather AS-D2~~Tom Ford Grey Vetiver Friday, November 17 Mike's Vetiver~~Simpson "The Hive"~~Cobra Classic~~Tom Ford Grey Vetiver Had to catch up with my postings. The Mike's continues its demise, as does the TF. The CC is officially my most aggressive razor. Dare I say, even MORE so than my straights.
Fantastic setup and good progress on the Mike's. "The Hive" is a classy looking brush. My Mike's is depleting as well, although I will likely be the last one of the bunch to finish my 3017. I shave every 36 to 48 hours these days, so that is the main factor. I load a bit heavier than normal, forming an initial lather on the puck, but I'm still primarily a face latherer. I have plenty for my normal 2+ pass shaves but not much left over. Mike's is definitely in my top 5...great performance, and the Hungarian Lavender scent is very enjoyable. I broke out my Gillette NEW LC this past week, and it is probably my all-time favorite razor. I'm nearly half finished with a bottle of Fine L'Orange Noir aftershave. Like others here, I don't worry too much about pairing soaps and stanks. I figure the soap scent is mostly gone after the shave is complete. I've also nearly worked through my inventory of Thayer's Witch Hazel and Astra SP blades. I have to laugh at myself over how I've chosen to pile up so much stuff in inventory over the years. At least I'm heading in the right direction for now. I hope you all have a great weekend. Happy Early Thanksgiving!
