The Jeeves of Hudson Street Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #447 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Supply SE Injector and a Supply Black Label Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and then Aqua Velva 5 in 1 ASB. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I would leave it as it is. I don’t think it needs any menthol.

How do find the Vintage Spice scent? In my honest opinion it’s an exact copy of the Shulton Old Spice. Some idiot told me that I don’t know what I’m talking about because he doesn’t like it.

This Brick soap is actually not around anymore although I have another one on the way to me. It was a house brand from a barbershop in the Netherlands and does it ever smell clean, classy, and barbershoppy, it lathers great, it’s quite slick, and it leaves a very comfortable postshave feeling. The Proraso Blue balm soothed me so well and the Florida Water smells so nice as well as old school - right up my alley. Three passes did me proud - another tip top BBS shave that I enjoyed from start to finish!

Razor :Yaqi Sentinel 1.55mm, 316SSP with a Yaqi Rocket SS handle- Mfg 2021>, excellent machining and finish QC that looks similar to the Personna BBS0, LAS BBS1, Wolfman W2 designed razors. This razor works great with a shallow angle(riding the cap) for my shaving better results. Had a close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Kai SS(10) sharp & smooth with excellent longevity. Top tier blade of my 6!
Soap : Razorock Emperor- very unique sharp scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Mysterious space" 24mm silvertip 3band badger. Excellent lather generator, luxury pillow like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock Emperor splash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi Sentinel with a Kai SS blade.

I like the Vintage Spice, actually I’ve liked all the MSC soaps, but not having ever used the original Shelton Old Spice soap I can’t compare the scents. I have bought a second tub of Vintage Spice if that tells you anything
