Day 27 December 7th Barbasol Floating Head w Wizamet IS (1) Omega Pro / Poculi Mike's Orange, Cedar and Pepper Thayers Jeeves Tobacco Bay Leaf I have mos def exposed a chunk of the tub bottom now. How many shaves left? I'd guess somewhere around 10-12... I'll be done by the end of the month. Continuing with 'neglected' blades. The vintage Wizamet in a Floating Head is an awesome and lethal combination. Have a great night all.

This time of year is very busy for me, especially given the challenging Korean economy. I did manage to run away for a week in Phuket. There are a lot of skeeters in Phuket so I took a stick of Arko to protect me. Rudy Vey bog oak brush and Ikon DE to round out the shave tools. Back in Seoul and working on the tub of Tabac. Will post a Tabac update this weekend.

Rookie move. The shave itself? Awesome. The FH is perhaps the most efficient shaver in my den, especially over two passes. Have a great day all.
December 9, 2023 OneBlade Genesis V1 Gunmetal GEM PTFE Alpha Outlaw WSP Ol’Kentucky Small Batch Shave Tonic Happy Saturday Everyone. I have decided to make the WSP Ol'Kentucky my next 3017 target. The scent of the soap and the Small Batch Shave Tonic seem to go with the time of the year. I decided to pull out the V1 Genesis and use it with the Gem blade. While the V1 did hold the blade tighter it was not markedly better than the V2 Genesis. I will be testing the Gem blade with the OneBlade Hybrid tomorrow. I hope everyone has a great day.
I’ve been trying to finish off my puck of Mike’s for a while. I’ve made some progress. I had shoulder surgery on Tuesday and have my arm in a sling that is strapped to my waist. I have struggled to get the tin open and use a brush and bowl one-handed. I finally gave up this morning and switched to a shave stick and face lathering. Today I had a nice shave with some Ogallala and my Red-tip. Have fun!
