The TSD Iced Lemongrass Shaving Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #292 High Mountain White Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gem Damaskeene Razor and a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

My brother-in-law sniffed the Vintage Spice soap and aftershave and he said it’s completely different from the Shulton Old Spice. This guy is so bloody critical of some of my stuff yet he keeps mooching from me. To my nose there’s no difference - in my opinion Fernando really nailed it with this stuff!

There’s enough menthol in this Glacial Obsidian soap to cause discomfort for anyone who is not able to tolerate such cold stuff - not everybody is a Menthol Monkey like me. Do I ever love the black licorice scent, it’s such a pleasure to lather, the slickness is something for the books, the menthol sensation is totally off the charts, and it’s got the typical fabulous Stirling skincare. The Prep always moisturizes and soothes my skin beautifully, and the Rubby Dubby Doo froze the living crap out of me. Three glorious gave me such a dynamite BBS shave that I enjoyed so much!

Razor : Gem Feather Weight(1OZ)- Mfg 1950-52 1st gen, 1953-54 2nd gen, mild to tame mid range. Well built to last many generations with a little care, the chrome is well done on this razor like most Gem razors. I must of had just the right pressure on this light razor for very nice shave. Had a stellar close & comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE(3) very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable + safest blade to handle.
Soap : Razorock M.F. - nice cologne fragranced soap with excellent lather qualities. Great sale on black Friday so why not.
Brush : Yaqi "Ferrari" 24mm boar bristle. Excellent lather generator, soft split end boar bristle hairs, nice splay scrubber + great lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock M.F (interesting cologne fragranced splashed 6-7/10 strength that lasts) with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a stellar close comfortable shave this morning with my Gem Feather weight razor with a Gem coated blade.

Got an early Christmas present and tried it out today. The razor/blade combo is smooth and mild to me, maybe a touch to mild but I'll work with it this week. The Pure SC works just fine, lathers easily and did a good job. The A/S is nice and I like the scent. The brush is a piece of trash! The worst excuse for a brush I've ever encountered. Won't be using it ever again. Overall, the shave was fine and I think it will get better as I get used to the razor/blade. Now go enjoy your day folks.
