Prep: Warm shower:/ Imperial Leather Bergamot & Sea Salt Energising Body Wash.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Omega S10065.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: The Real Shave Co. Age Defence Traditional Shave Cream.
Blade: Statum Platinum Chrome. (D4)
Razor: King C. Gillette.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Superdrug Forest Fresh ASL./Cien Men Sensitive ASB.

Everything in my shave set up worked together excellently, resulting in a wonderfully smooth 2 pass + pick ups comfortable shave with no errors to report...A great shave to finish my shaving week off on a high.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Cien Men Sensitive ASB.

My face is feeling cool smooth & smelling divine.

Thursday's Cold Water Shave

The Proraso Sandalwood Shaving Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #292 High Mountain White Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gem Damaskeene Razor and a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel followed by Duru Cologne After Shave. The Duru is a product of Turkey, and it was a gift to me from Mike in PA. It is a very nice lemony scent that is fresh and not over powering. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Yesterday I received some new soaps from the Netherlands which I never had before as well as a backup of one that I love. This Autumn soap from Biolijf has a very nice scent of cinnamon and clove that could be classified as a bay rum scent I suppose, it’s vegan based, it gives tons of thick, rich, creamy, slick lather, and a very comfortable postshave feeling. The Aloe Vesta moisturizer is great as a balm, and the Krampert’s Bay Rum aftershave is so nice - a pity it’s no longer available. Finally the delightful Aramis fragrance and everything is in order. Three passes did the job for me - what a beautiful BBS shave this was!

DE SOTD, Thursday, December 21st 2023

Razor : Razorock Wunderbar 316 SSP slant with a modified Gem Micromatic handle- Mfg 2017>, mid to upper mid range. Excellent machining and finish QC. It took a few shaves to dial this in and I found steep angle (riding the bar) with short handle works the best. The short handle gives less leverage, more nimble, less weight + seems to work well at the base of my neck for less issues. The Wunderbar slant likes a light touch and it gives a smooth shave all the time. Had a close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : GSB (2) sharp and smoooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap : Speick stick- nice mild spicy scent with excellent lather qualities.(picture does not justice.)
Brush : Yaqi" Red Zebra" 26mm snow leopard knot. Excellent lather generator, luxury heavenly cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather. One of my 1st 26mm Yaqi synthetic brushes, best buy at the time and never looked back!
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ach Brito Lavanda splash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Razorock Wunderbar slant with a GSB blade.
