Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Omega 48.
Face Lather.
Lather: Palmolive Classic Shave Stick.
Blade: Supermax Blue Diamond. (D2)
Razor: Wilkinson Sword Classic Premium TTO.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Paco Rabanne Pour Homme ASL./Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

"Christmas Eve Shave"

One more day before the big fella with the white beard, delivers my Christmas shaving goodies in my stocking.....'The Christmas period always brings the kid out in me with bittersweet memories, and to be truthfully honest I don't do Christmas anymore. I know for some people it's full of joy and plenty, especially for children, yet for some it's not so nice..

However, as they say in my neck of the woods 'I'll put a face on' for the festive season so I don't spoil it for the people who still enjoy it, and most importantly for those who still think Santa Claus is the real deal, which is something that should never be spoilt as for a child it's the most magical best feeling in the world. I remember it well...

A wonderful Christmas eve shave with some of my favourite old, and infrequently used wet shaving assortments.

Tomorrow I'll be venturing out to the family gathering to prepare the Christmas dinner, 'My multi tasking-skills' come in useful at certain times' and take part in the festive activities, then later in the evening I'll be catching up on some relaxation and well earned rest.

Finishing the shave off a with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

The Proraso Sandalwood Shaving Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #292 High Mountain White Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Ever-Ready Lather Catcher and a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Duru Cologne After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Wow, did I ever oversleep this morning and I actually had a hard time getting out of bed because I was so tired. My Derby blade just about gave up the ghost during my second pass so I stopped after it was done. It felt great to get some chill in my face after three consecutive days of not using any mentholated stuff - the Palmolive Menthol cream’s beautiful fresh, minty scent filled my bathroom, the lather was fabulous as it always is, the menthol sensation felt heavenly, and it felt my skin feeling so comfortable. The Prep and the Aqua Velva Sport aftershave were a perfect finishing combination. Surprisingly enough I had a great two pass BBS shave albeit sort of rushed.

Sunday shave, December 24th 2023

Razor : Razorock mission, Mfg 2014>,mid range. Great razor + very affordable. A person should be able to receive a close shave with reasonable technique IMO. Good chromed parts and handle is RR 316SSP knurled handle. Had a close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade :Gillette Nacet (1) sharp and smooth + reasonable longevity.
Soap : Razorock Blue barber, nice scented soap with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Chinese unknown brand, 22mm synthetic. Great on the road brush.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ach Brito Lavanda with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my RR Mission razor.

In honor to my Grandma i used the razor which she gifted me on Christmas 2021. In combination with the Aftershave which she liked a lot (scentwise), the shave was quite emotional.

2,5 passes and i was BBS.

This is our first Christmas without Granny. I miss her deeply
