    A relaxing Sunday morning shave.

    Everything in my shave set up paired together wonderfully.

    An acceptable close 2 pass + pick ups shave with no errors to report.

    Finishing the shave off with a few small squirts of Adidas Extreme Power EdT to the pulse points.

    My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.;)

    Going to get to 40 C today so we got the shrub pruning done early
    Hot shower afterwards

    Prep = hot shower, before my shave, would this work for me?
    Soap = TOBS tobacco leaf. I can't smoke it, anyway at least I can shave with it!
    Brush = Old Vulfix 1000A
    Bowl = Timeless
    Razor = Gillette New OC
    Blade = Shark (2)
    Passes = 2 +
    Post = CWR, alum was alive all over, left over lather to the face, CWR, Thayers, PR Barbe Dure ASL
    Scent = Bulgari Wood Essence
    Damage = none, nice and smooth after 2nd pass, just a few touch ups needed

    Score = 9 /10
    Comments = The OC does need more care, even with this smoother blade. Didn’t want to push the boundaries in my tricky Zone 8.

    Knowing when to stop is half the battle. No ATG needed anywhere, great finish and nice start to the mid-morning cup of tea

    The TOBS is good, but not as slick as the Sterling soaps I have tried so far
    The Vulfix is easier to rinse clean than denser brushes
    The hot shower did no better as prep as my normal hot or cold water face soak for 30s x3, so not benefit there

    Super Sunday to one and all

  6. I lost my father and grandmother earlier than I should have due to smoking. Thankfully, the habit seems to be fading off as time goes by….

  12. Wonderful pic and shave Chris. I like it hot, but 104° F is a bit much for me.

    Did a 3 pass error-free shave with a BBS result. There was a very slight alum feedback. Finished the shave in my usual manner. Take care.

    SE Shave # 364

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: PAA Injector - Type L
    Blade: Schick Pro-line B-20
    Brush: RazoRock Plissoft “Beehive” 28mm
    Pre-Shave: Pears Soap - Mint Extract
    Lather: Denton Majik Seagoer
    Aftershave: Denton Majik Seagoer
    Additional Care:
    Maggards Alum
    Nivea Sensitive Balm
    Thayer’s Witch Hazel - Original

    My initial plan with the Seagoer software was to use a straight. I was curious to see if I would continue to get outstanding results with a diffeeent type of razor. Given my minor upper lip mishaps with the straight yesterday I did not want to take a straight or Shavette to the injured area. Hence, I opted for the injector.

    My assessment of the Denton Majik soap has not changed. One of the best performers in either den. I will definitely pick up another of his creations in the distant future. The 2.5 ounce jar is perfect given the collection of soaps I have.

    Once again, three passes to BBS. This stuff just work and leaves the face feeling amazing.

    Have a get day gentlemen.
