Prep: Warm shower:/Imperial Leather Lavender & Wild Iris Body Wash.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Anbbas 24mm Synthetic.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Proraso Blue Shaving Cream.
Razor: Parker 55SL Semi-Slant. (Face) - Statum Platinum Chrome. (D1)
Razor: Parker InjRzr. (Head/Dome) (Setting 4) - Personna Injector PTFE. (D3)

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Superdrug Sierran Breeze ASL./Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

(Face & Head Shave)

A new shave set up to start the weekend....The Proraso Blue shaving cream created a nice creamy slick protective lather with only a small amount in a short space of time The residual slickness is superb leaving an excellent post-shave feel to my mature skin.

An acceptable close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off a with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.

My goodness the more I use this Vintage Spice soap and aftershave the more I love them - my dear brother Fernando in Johannesburg, South Africa really nailed it with these two treasures. The scent (to me) is bang on Shulton Old Spice, the soap’s tallow formula gives it such awesome lather that’s so thick, rich, super slick as well as protective, and the skincare is brilliant. The Aloe Vesta moisturizer works so well as a balm, and the Vintage Spice aftershave is witch hazel based so it never stings or burns not to mention how gorgeous the scent is. This Derby blade…….it’s getting sort of dull but it’s still performing well - it helped me get a terrific BBS shave that was so pleasurable.

The Braymore Farm Goat Milk Sandalwood Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #437 Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the J.R. Torrey 5/8 Razor gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Citrus Musk Cologne. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Razor : Yaqi Mercury chrome head with a RR UFO handle- MFG 2023>, nice tame mid range. With a reasonable shaving technique a person should be able to shave nicely with this beautiful razor IMO. They call it a beginners razor but I would say there is some blade feel around the chin area has been my experiences. A razor that should give most folks a DFS every time. Had a close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Gillette 7oClock Permasharp, sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap : Razorock Fresco XXX, nice mentholated XXX scented soap with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Artic sky" 24mm 3band badger. Excellent lather generator, Luxury pillow like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + great lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock Fresco XXX with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi Mercury chrome razor with a Gillette 7 oClock Permasharp. Excellent shave this morning!

Shave 2 with the Suneko blade was much nicer than shave 1. The first shave was harsh and I was careful to avoid serious irritation. It felt much like a Feather blade does for me on a first shave. But the second shave with the Suneko was more comfortable.

This was my second Suneko blade in this trial. Thanks again to @SDK for his generous PIF! I have decided that these blades are sharper than I prefer. If you like Feather blade sharpness these are an interesting alternative. The Suneko blades give more comfortable shaves per blade than a Feather does for me once I get past the harsh first shave.

Here my belated Wednesday Shave (17.01.2024)


Pre: PAA Cube // Razor: Blackbird Ti Lite // Blade: Gillette Platinum // Soap: MdC Fougere // Brush: Shavemac // Aftershave: Weleda Balm

Another great shave. Very smooth and gentle.

2,5 passes were enough for a BBS shave. Have not used the Weleda Afterhshave Balm for quite some time. Good stuff. Smells good and skincare is very good.

A 10 out of 10
