Tabac Usage through 01/21/2024
Lather: Tabac ORG = 152

Since I was introduced to Tabac in February 2023, I immediately liked it. It was my most used soap in 2023. also it's the only soap I've used for my daily shaves in 2024. I moved the last remining bit out of the ceramic jar and have been loading it from the bowl shown below. On Saturday January 20, 2024 I completed my 152nd shave to complete my first ever puck of Tabac!

Now I'll be focusing on my refill of Veggie Tabac. As of today I've used it 25 times so it has a ways to go! Love Love Tabac!

Happy Monday. We had a nice sunny but chilly day yesterday with most of the upcoming week looks to be rainy and messy. Another fantastic shave to start the day. This soap will certainly be gone before the end of the week. I was digging through my shave cabinet and found a new La Toja shave stick. I might just take it on our trip this summer. A fantastic shave featuring Tabac Veggie. I'm using Tabac exclusively this month. It's a definite favorite! My Zenith brush whips up an amazing later in just seconds.

Can you tell a difference between the old and new formulas?

Yes definitely. The soap itself is lighter in color.

The veggie puck is in the ceramic jar. When I took this photo I moved the remaining original formula to the shaving bowl. As previously mentioned, I finished my original puck this past weekend.

I find the scent a bit different. I picked up a scent that was familiar to me, reminded me of Ivory soap which was a staple in my home growing up.

I find the new formula a more thirsty soap. Of course adding some water along the way fixes that up. In terms of performance, I'm very happy with it. Regardless of what soap I shave with, I finish every shave with a splash of Tabac Aftershave. I love this stuff!

I am a fan of Tabac.

My new Wolfman arrived from Canada today and I took it for a spin.
The 1.15mm gap seems large, but it doesn't shave that way.
Very smooth and wonderful to use.
The Darwin handle isn't the most ergonomic in the world, but what a beautiful design.
For my friend @wristwatchb I liberally sprayed on some Midnight Stag.​

The Wolfman is a beauty, Joseph! What a great addition to your den!

And considering I'm upwind and several hundred miles away, it is a great stank choice for you, my friend!
