I just joined this group yesterday and Swarden43 asked me to show what I have. Brit sent me here. The stuff I am uploading today is mostly well used Gillettes, some Schicks, and other shaving related items I have acquired over the last few years. None of the items I am uploading look as good as what others have posted. (One could say I prefer quantity over quality) And my photos do not look as professional as most I have seen here. So I apologize. I am still trying to match the razors with the correct cases and the correct historical blades. And 98% of today's uploads need a good cleaning. Finally, I have more stuff such as some Aristocrats packed in a box that I will photograph at a later date.
cool collection so far.many folks here have been collecting for years and they have hundreds.i myself acquired over 100 gillettes over 7 years but have now passed many along,i now sit at around 40 gillette cased sets and 10 or so loose ones,mostly british made.they seem to multiply in the drawer while i'm not looking...i also have a few schick injectors and valet autostrop models. your photos are fine.thank you for sharing them here.
That's a nice collection you have there! Just a comment on two of the items in your first photo. The blue plastic case was a special baseball edition from 1965. So, the razor for it should be a Gillette Slim with a date year code of K. The dark red plastic case on the right is for a Red Tip Super Speed (made from 1955-1960) but the razor in it is a Black Handle Super Speed (1966-1988).
