All shaves were with an E-1 Fatboy, setting 5, ARKO Soap, and the @oscar11 Special brush, wiith a Snthetic Knot.
Still a very nice shaving blade. No signs of it quitting. I am taking the time to prep the whiskers before the shave. Smooth 2 pass shave, that delivers a DFS. Little to no feedback with the aftershave.

I like GSBs, but honestly, about one in every 3 or 4 blades has one edge way better than the other. This is the only St Pete’s blade I experience this with. Oh well. Have a great night all.

The Van Der Hagen Deluxe Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #446 Boar/Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Burham Safety Razor and a Vintage Burham Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

It’s been a helluva long time since I used the 14 soap from Bundubeard so I thought I’d better pull it out today and I’m happy I did. There’s a very interesting story behind this soap and I love the leathery scent of it, it’s glycerine based, the lather and skincare are great - in fact it has a very soothing postshave feeling. The Aloe Vesta moisturizer is so good for sensitive skin like mine, and the Don Donato aftershave smells beautiful - not only that, it gives a bit of a menthol sensation. Two passes were enough for a lovely BBS shave that I enjoyed a lot.
