  14. I saw Joe this morning and I can say he looked great freshly shaved. I didn't see the wound so it definitely was a non-issue. Way to go Joe! Our monthly meeting is always a good time. Thanks for making it enjoyable.

  15. I hear you. After I posted it, I thought to myself, who am I to tell somebody how to rate their own shave? That's why I deleted it. I need to learn to mind my own business. (Dr. Mrs. Primo would concur) ;)
    Take care, Joe.

  18. Feb 5 SOTA

    Mühle R102
Gillette WIkkinson Sword DE Blade (4,5)
    Rockwell Synthetic Brush
    Cella SS
    Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS
    Stirling Alum Block
    Modessa Witch Hazel
    Beard Growth: 24 hrs
    Dome Turf: 3+ days

This is a head and face shave for this afternoon. I am tutoring a student thus evening so I wanted to look freshly shaved. Cella was the pick because my 3 day Dome Turf needed to have the slickest soap so that I can shave with my R102 effectively.
Did a 3 pass shave all around for a BBS error-free shave. The alum feedback was negligible as well. Did my usual postshave routine to end this nice and efficient shave. Take care.
  19. Thanks Joe

  20. Great Intro and suggestions for February, Joe!

Favourite February is a nicely amorphous concept, so I will likely do that. Chances are that my shave setups will look very similar to what I have used for the last couple months.

I do still have a FatBoy, so I could also do FatBoy February (or Fridays), although I no longer have my Favourite FatBoy. I had a trio of Gillette Adjustables that I had had refurbished and identically Cerakoted by Delta Echo Razors. So I had a FatBoy, a Slim and a long SuperAdjustable all coated in black with red trim. In an unfortunate fit of den clearing a few years ago, I offered them all for sale along with a few other razors and brushes, and quickly sold the FatBoy and Slim. I ended up keeping my absolute favourite of the three, the SuperAdjustable, but no longer have the matched set -- and Delta Echo Razors is no longer in business to do any more for me....

I also have an unopened cake of Fine Accoutrements Lavender soap with a matching bottle of splash. Also a Fatip Grande razor. And a few Fougere scented products. All possibilities too, under the umbrella heading of Favourites. Hmmm...
