  2. And how does it taste???
  3. The typical coffee taste and smell are weaker (to be expected) requiring a double measure in the percolator. Instead there's a dominant dark chocolate/nutty fragrance, underlaid by coffee, that's unexpected but pleasant. Other old cans I've tried have turned out the same, never had one yet that was rancid if sealed. And whatever caffeine kick it had is still very much present. I think the aging process reduces acidity somewhat because they're always very mellow. Wouldn't want it every day but it's nice for a change.
  4. Possibly like a well aged cigar?

  5. Spec's Liquor- Texas Hill Country Pecan

I think this is the smoothest richest Pecan flavored coffee I've had. It even had quite a bit of pecan chunks in it. If you have access to this coffee, try it.

  6. Never had one so I can't really say, but the old can of pipe tobacco I have burns smooth with a bit of nutty/woody smell. So, maybe?
  7. Following a quest of many decades, having drank much swill and some nectar, I discovered Caribou brand's Caribou Blend. It is the second best coffee I have ever tasted. The best coffee i ever tasted is not available commercially.

In addition to having excellent flavor and nearly perfect body, Caribou Blend has the unusual quality of leaving no lingering aftertaste. It is available in 7 different grinds, or in K-cups (which is what I choose).

  8. What is the coffee that you said is not available ? If I may ask...
  9. Ok, I'm going to give it a try. Just placed an order.
How do you prepare your coffee?

  10. Spec's Liquers
    "Texas Hill Country Pecan"

I will still say, this is the best pecan coffee I've had. Very smooth and bold. The wife and I are drinking this, almost daily.
  11. Community's American Classic blend has been cold brewing in the work fridge since yesterday morning.
  12. Sorry. Cold coffee is just wrong :sick007: :rolleyes005:

    But that's me.

It's your coffee. Enjoy it your way ;)
  13. I used to think so too.
  14. If you think that sounds bad, my wife wanted to try some coffee flavored ice cream. She made the mistake of not sampling it first. It was vanilla that had whole coffee beans all in it. Horrible horrible horrible.

  19. Eight O’Clock is most likely the only coffee I’ll drink at home from now on. I’ve tried quite a few different ones but it’s just not even close imo. It’s just good!
