Friday, February 23 Dominca Bay Rum Shave Soap~~Simpson CH2 Synthetic Badger~~Wolfman WR2/Astra SP~~Dominca Bay Rum Decided to give the new, improved version of the Dominica Bay Rum shave soap a go. The lather dissipated quickly. It did provide relative slickness. The scent is Bay Rum. However, with so many superior options out there, I won't be using this soap anymore.

February 25, 2024 High Proof Razor Gillette 7 O’clock Black Thäter Boar LEA Classic Shave Soap and Aftershave Happy Sunday. A bit of change in the lineup. I am going with the High Proof razor. I would describe it as a OneBlade that uses half DE blades. The hardware and software played well together delivering a fantastic shave this morning. The soap continues to sink at a good pace. I have approximately 16 grams after today's shave. Take care and have a great day.
Sunday, February 25 AoS Sandalwood~~Vie-Long~~Gillette #44/Astra SP~~Vintage Williams Aqua Velva Stank trivia... The original Aqua Velva contained real oakmoss, which is now banned by IFRA (International Fragrance Association)
It would normally be around 5 shaves for me but this soap is not cooperating. I suppose it will be closer to 8 or 9 shaves before the soap is "done & dusted"
February 26, 2024 High Proof Razor Gillette 7 O’clock Black Mr EE #4 LEA Classic Shave Soap and Aftershave Happy Monday. I feel like I have returned the land of the living after having Covid most of last week and the weekend. Since I don't want to get anyone at the office sick, I will be working from home for the next several days. A wonderful drama free shave to start the day. I really can't ask for more. Monday, February 26 AoS Sandalwood~~Semogue 2012 Mistura~~Feather AS-D2/Astra SP~~Dehn El Oodh Malaki/Aramis Tobacco Reserve Chuggin' along with the AoS cream. I'll miss these products when they're gone. I have two more to 3017, but they're warm-weather scents. The Feather/Astra combo did a great job. Saw an SOTD with a Grooming Department (I think) Tobacco/Oud shave soap. I was intrigued, so I layered my own. Very, very nice stank.
