To me there’s NOTHING better anywhere than the Noxzema lather cream - believe it or not I would give up ALL my other soaps and creams and use only this stuff if only it was still in production but alas, it’s not. About 15 years ago or so I scored a big bunch of them and now I’m down to just 3 so I only use it now and then because I want them to last as long as possible. The scent is so old school and beautiful, the way it lathers is fabulous, it’s got such a delightful menthol sensation, and the postshave feeling is unbeatable. The Prep balm smells exactly like the Noxzema cream and it’s so cooling, moisturizing, as well as soothing. The Polar Ice aftershave is a wonderful Canadian barbershop classic, and finally the gorgeous Aramis fragrance was the icing on the cake. Three passes gave me such a great BBS shave that I enjoyed so much!

SOTD, Wednesday, February 28th 2024

Razor : Razorock Lupo.72 316 SSP- Mfg 2021>, mid range. Excellent machining and finish QC for my shaving needs. One of my favorite DE razors that checks most of the boxes for enjoyable shaving. Had a close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Gillette Nacet (4) sharp and smooth + good longevity.
Soap : Cyril R Salter cream Wild Rose, nice rose scented cream and easy to make lather + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Artic sky" 24mm synthetic. Excellent lather generator, luxury cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. Another nice brush to use for my shaving needs.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Italian Barber Amici(AKA= Razorock) with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Razorock Lupo.72 with a Gillette Nacet blade.

Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Erasmic Shave Cream.
Blade: Treet Dura Sharp (Carbon) blue pack. (D2)
Razor: Merkur 37C.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Brut Attraction Totale ASL./Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

Early morning shave,

I have mentioned before in many of my posts, something I've learned since becoming a traditional wet shaver is if I had used the shaving brush, shaving soap/cream method when I shaved with Cartridge razors for all those years my shaves would have been 100% better and more enjoyable as back then, shaving was just a mundane task and something I hated having to do with a strong passion getting no enjoyment from it what so ever.

The Merkur 37C, FaTip Grande, Personna Comfort Coated Lab Blue & Treet Dura Sharp Carbon blue pack have provided me with close comfortable and present face & head shaves this month...Throughout March I will be using the Gillette Guard for my head/dome shaves and a variety of DE razors 'mainly my Parker's for my face shaves and carrying on using various Treet DE blades.

A wonderful shave to finish my last shave of February off on a high.

A comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face is feeling cool smooth & smelling divine.
