The Stirling Pharaoh's Dreamsicle Shave Soap lathered well with Semogue SOC Boar Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the J.A. Henckels 5/8 Straight gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pharaoh's Dreamsicle After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

I’m gonna have to ask Abir to make some more and to market it in bigger sized containers. He sure has great prices for his stuff!

Great shave my friend!

Oh, I forgot to mention that I have a custom made soap and aftershave from Fernando with a beautiful wintergreen scent that smells EXACTLY like Stirling Glacial Wintergreen and believe it or not more strongly mentholated. I would say that this soap and aftershave are about the same as Absolute Zero - in other words they’re two menthol atom bombs!

The first time I used this Vintage Spice soap and aftershave I fell in love with them because they’re perfect substitutes for the discontinued Shulton Old Spice stuff in terms of the scent. Fernando really nailed it with these two products - the exact same gorgeous scent, the soap’s tallow formula gives it such magnificent lather that’s so thick, rich, creamy, super slick as well as cushiony with great protection, and the postshave feeling is perfect. The Aloe Vesta moisturizer gave me wonderful soothing, and the Vintage Spice aftershave went on with no stinging or burning because it’s witch hazel based and that scent…….it’s DELIGHTFUL. Another brilliant three pass shave that was such a pleasure from start to finish!

Pitralon was one of the first aftershaves I saw on heree when I joined. Maybe THE first.

 

A blade I haven't visited in a while. I had a wonderful 2 pass shave, that left me BDBS. Zero issues, from this Full Hollow Solingen.

Razor- 'Mondesir Special 95". By L.Sommer & Co., Solingen.
Brush- Rubberset 400-No Number. Faux Boar knot. It performs great. Plenty of backbone, soft, and holds lather and water well.
Soap- ARKO
Aftershave- Vintage Avon Spicy. Totem Pole decanter.

Razor : Razorock Game changer.84 with a RR Radio knob handle. Mfg 2018>, tame mid to mid range. Excellent machining and finish QC + unique head design for holding the blade. I like to use a Kai SS blade because of the extra width for more blade feel and it works well in this razor. Had a close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Kai SS (1) sharp and smooth with excellent longevity.
Soap : TOBS Herbal Sandalwood cream, nice rich herbal scented sandalwood 7/10 strength with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "coat tails" 24mm synthetic. Excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips. nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. Closest synthetic knot to a 2band badger for feel and performance.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ogallala Bayrum and Sandalwood + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Razorock GC.84 with a fresh Kai SS extra wide blade.
