This razor/blade combination just works---even on the ATG neck pass. Cleaned off the face with my usual Thayer's Unscented Witch Hazel, to which I add some Camphor and Eucalyptus. Closest I can get to the sadly-discontinued "medicated" Thayer's. Healthy, double-splash of the Thor's Hammer.
What's ol' Al Neumann up to these days? His brother Bill did a fine job in the shaving world, I'll say that right now(oh, I just DID say that).

I apologize for not posting yesterday. Maya was rear ended on Friday evening coming home from work. Thankfully she is ok but her car is not drivable. So I went up yesterday and gave her my car and rented a car for myself. In looking at the damage, I would not be surprised if her car was totaled. Well, live happens. At least I was able to get in some great shaves this weekend. I just found out that I can get the FHS-10 blades in bulk at prices very close the Feather DE blades. I love this razor with Gem blades so now I will see how much I like it with FHS-10 blades. Take care and have a great day.
Glad to hear Maya is OK, but too bad about her car. I'm going through a situation currently with my car-it's fine but I had a collision.
Thank you guys. I am glad Maya was not hurt. She is just upset about the car. I have tried telling her that is why we buy insurance. I guess I will give her my car if her car is totaled. I really was not looking forward to buying a car.
I get it, Clint. We came home from vacation only to find that the Hyundai we bought for my oldest daughter had been stolen. It was recovered yesterday totally trashed. Waiting to see if insurance totals it or fixes it. Either way, after learning there are TikTok videos on how easy it is to steal a Hyundai, it’s getting traded in. Like you, buying a car was not on my list of things I was looking forward to.

Thanks Clint-I can still drive with it, as the main damage was down near the rear bottom. I once told Charlie, this is the car I plan to "drive into the ground"....it's been my favorite. 2008 Chevy Cobalt.

Monday, March 25 AoS Sandalwood~~Simpson CH2 Synthetic Badger~~1936 Gillette Aristocrat De Luxe/Personna 74~~Barrister & Mann Kyovu Two more shaves and this product will be in the books. The CH2 rocks out some serious suds. Lovin' the 'Crat, boys. They knew how to make 'em back in the day. The Kyovu is still one of B&M's best splashes. In my never-to-be humble opinion.
