I dug out some older Palmolive shave cream from the back of the shelf for this mornings shave. It is in the white tube with red writing. I am not even sure how long I have had it.. but it has traveled with me several years. All I can say is wow. Maybe it is because I recently acquired a vintage Badger Ever Ready brush (my first badger) or maybe it was just luck, but this stuff worked great. The smell is more soapy then anything else, but the lather was great. This is just a reminder to check the back of the shelf now and again. You might find an old friend that works really well. Fuzzy
It's not worth $70 but it is a very nice cream for something that was once all over the drug store shelves for a couple of bucks a tube. I'm hoarding a few tubes and use it regularly. I find nothing offensive about the scent although I'm aware that many guys do.
I find the scent to be ok myself. It is a nice shaving cream... I do not have much at all left so do not use it much. Fuzzy
Someone else will have to chime in but I think the US version is out of production.. There is an Italian version maybe. Fuzzy
