Sunday, March 31 Old Spice~~Semogue 2012 SE Mistura~~Barbasol FH/Personna 74 While this soap is mos def® NOT a 3017 candidate, it does qualify as a wonderful, nostalgic soap. Lathers as good as any modern, artisan shave soap. The classic scent is world-famous.

Week of April 1 Gillette Aristocrat 1934-35 Feather Simpson Chubby 2 Super Proraso Shaving Cream (3017 target) Alum Thayers WH (3017 target) AHC Only for Man Lotion Dehn El Oud Malaki Swiss Arabian EDP This will be my setup for the next few days. It will be the first outing with the Aristocrat. It just returned from Back Roads Gold where Chris corrected a mechanical issue with the TTO and gave it a spa treatment. The original plating is intact, with the exception of some wear on the top cap. @Primotenore kindly shared some Oud samples, and I'm currently using Dehn El Oud Malaki Swiss Arabian EDP. The opening is harsh, but it dries to down to a deep woody, spicy sent that lasts all day. Just for fun, I ordered some Lavender essential oil to layer onto it. Swati and I had a great weekend. We were able to visit with both the girls and my Mom. The soap is down to 45 grams remaining before this morning's shave. Thanks Clint! I appreciate the kind words. I had always wanted an Aristocrat OC, and this one came up for sale on another forum awhile back. I thought all serious traditional shavers had one.
Course I'll be putting my AgadirMen and Stoylin Agar(Oud Wood)to work this week, but Joseph has better ones, I'd say.
Great minds think alike. The preformance of the vintage Old Spice is something to behold. Since I can't replace it, I will not selected for 3017.
