    Shavette Shave # 540
    Parker SRS
    Derby 1/2 DE Blade (1)
    Stirling Badger Brush
    PAA King R Emporium SS
    Stirling Alum Block
    Personal Care Witch Hazel
    Beard Growth: 23.5 hrs

This is my very first use of the Parker SRS and the Derby 1/2 blade. I have the bottom tier Parker shavette that has the plastic scales. In fact, I was given another Parker shavette with the plastic scales and will be giving that away eventually. Anyway this shavette is stainless steel and is heftier than my SRB ( plastic scales). The locking mechanism is tighter and taking the blade out is a little more difficult, but I am fine with it.

The Derby half blade is manufactured that way so the ends are not crimped like it would be when you fold a full DE in half. The blade is mild but it is efficient. Honestly, it didn't feel like it was cutting my stubble. However, it was not my usual stubble because yesterday's shave was quite close. I will see how this blade performs with a heavier stubble, but so far this blade shaved well.

The PAA King R. Emporium soap was slick and voluminous. See below.

Three passes gave me an excellent shave without any problems. There was some alum feedback. Finished the save with the witch hazel and the Pinaud-Clubman Classic aftershave. Overall, the Parker SRS is a fine razor. Take care.

    SRS # 1067

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Double Duck Goldedge
    Brush: Classic Shaving Silver Blue
    Pre-Shave: Pears Transparent Soap
    Lather: WTF Vintage Barbershop
Aftershave: Wholly Kaw King of Oud
    Additional Care:
    Omega Alum
    Dickenson’s Original Witch Hazel
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

Another excellent straight razor shave with the WTF soap in the forefront. Only four shaves left with this soap as the Edmund Fitzgerald is calling this tub to the depths of its watery grave.

The soap provide a slick cushion with an extraordinary amount of lather that was enough for two shaves for those that prefer two passes. I like to do a three pass and one post shave lather while I clean up the gear.

I will use this soap for the next two shaves as I am going to focus this month on knocking down some soaps in the den. The soap rotation for the month will be Declaration Grooming Monday, One Soap Tuesday-Friday, Anything Goes Saturday and Sample Soap Sunday.

Hope you all have a great day gentlemen.
