How many days in a row have you shaved before taking a break? I hear some saying they only shave every other day, others go Sunday - Friday, taking Saturday off. So far the most I've done is 8 days in a row. Today is day 8. I'm going to see how long I can go before my face starts to get really irritated. So far, none at all, even with trying a SE for the first time. And if you shave more than once a day, then count them separately.
every other day here Truckie. Face comes dang close to needing a shave by mid of day 2 so it is too late to get it. thing that shocks wife, I use to never shave on my 2 days off. Now if it is the every other day even on days off I shave.
Approx 10,950! There may have been a day or two in college that I skipped ?? or I might have had the flu once or twice.. other than the occasional unavoidable event I shave every day.
for me it isn't a rest my skin thing, it's more of a do I have time today, usually I shave 7 days a week, this break I've been so busy that I haven't been but usually unless the world is ending or I have a final I shave.
I shave every day unless I really hack my face up....then I will skip a day but thats been a while. I could go every other day and I used to when I was with cartidges but love shaving so much now 3-4 times a week? not enough!
+1 that's me now... I used to shave my 4 days at work because I had to, then only 0-1 of my 4 days off. Now I want to shave all the time...
I went years without missing a shave.... up until this year. I don't anticipate rest days, but sometimes it just happens.
If I miss a day shaving it is not because the face needs a rest, that is never an issue... I sometimes miss if out at hunting camp or something.. Fuzzy
Usually I miss about 2 days a month, generally a Saturday or Sunday. If I happen to butcher myself, I'll rest for a day.
I shave everyday. Oh, I may miss a day a month because I was too busy and just did not get a chance to shave. But I will shave even if it is only a 3 pass non BBS shave later in the afternoon. Really no need to take a day off unless I am sick.
A year ago I shaved every day except for when my face needed a break due to a bad shave the previous day. Now I, well, shave approximately every second day as I have a very light beard it doesn't show and I have found that shaving every second day gives me closer shaves than I would get if I shaved daily - again due to my light beard. But, of course, if I have to go out, I also shave daily
Well, I only shave every 2 days. I have a very sensitive skin and if I shave daily I get pimples on face. So yeah, every two days. . Have a good one guys! Dark
I've shaved every day since Christmas, when I received my Merkur Classic as a gift. This is the most I've ever shaved consecutively, and I love every minute of it.
Every day unless I mess up and have to rest the old face for a day. If I don't shave every day, I feel like a bum and all scruffy. Ick.
Same as Ray and Klaus. Pretty light beard so I go every two days and generally skip shaving on days off and vacations. I enjoy DE shaving too, but not so much I don't appreciate a break every now and then.
I took yesterday off to give my face a break - I had bad burn from poor lather (operator error). I hated it - I missed the actual shaving, plus I hated the stubble. I really probably should've gone without today, too, but I couldn't take it. Good shave though, and no issues. :happy088
My face can handle being shaved every day. Quite honestly, I should be shaving every day, and usually do, but I do skip the occasional day due to circumstances such as time, etc.
