Saturday, April 6 XPEC~~TSN X LE~~2011 Mühle R41/Weber Bulldog/Personna 74 Even with a super-smooth blade, such as the Personna 74, the R41 exposes it in such a way, danger lurks around every corner. For some...not for Primo. Great shave.
This week I tried adding some liquid lanolin and that upded the performance of Castle Forbes a half notch. A couple of JWest straights and the R41 delivered sharp edges. I hope everyone had enjoyable weekend. Spring has sprung, the weather is great and the cherry blossoms were in full bloom.
Sunday, April 7 XPEC~~Rubberset 400/3~~Friodur 472~~Vintage Old Spice Lime AS Jason breaking out the OS Lime inspired me to do the same. My bottle's not fancy and it's the AS rather than the cologne, but it still has plenty of mojo. The straight shave was excellent and was completed without incident.
Awesome, Maestro. Mine’s the AS as well. As far as the fancy bottle, I think I’d rather have the original, iconic shape that you have. The ships lantern Lime that I have was still in box and unopened though. Couldn’t pass it up.

April 9th Canadian New Deluxe w Polsilver Omega Evo / Burl&Resin Fine Platinum Classic SS Thayers Jeeves Tobacco Bay Leaf AS “tis true, 'tis true 'tis pity, and pity 'tis, 'tis true” After 3 months of continuous usage, the Fine soap is done. It was a pleasant focus with a great product. I’ll use a fave or two and then audition a few tubs for the next focus. To be honest, nothing else will be quick.
