  1. Lol! I can't believe that I said that I was using my Art Razor 1000 when I was shaving with my Max Sprecher. It was late Sunday night when I posted it. Thank goodness I wasn't too sleepy because I may have had a bad shave otherwise. As you can see, I corrected my post.

  4. Wonderful shave set up Chris...I find when face lathering with shave sticks, they can take quite a bit of water.

  7. Thanks Joe, liking the Tabac

Thanks Barry, with a lathering bowl it is easier to control. What I did this morning was to mush the brush into my chin to spread it and create a hollow into which I kept adding more water. Not too much, don't want it dripping out all over the place!

Beautiful Gary. Glass and silver make a fine combo

    Mom's finest crystal, perhaps?
  8. I agree bowl lathering is easier to control, probably because you know the correct ratio of water to add to the bowl to get the lather to the consistency you prefer. With practice face lathering will be the same, your shaving instinct will eventually know the right amount of water to add to the tips of the brush. However, this also depends on what type of brush you are face lathering with. Synthetics are easier for face lathering to familiarise this method of lathering. Practice with enjoyment.

    Good morning.

I went with my Schick I-1 razor. Did a 3 pass shave. I didn't get any bleeding and I got a comfortable shave. The blade needs to be changed because I didn't get a BBS shave because I did a lot of buffing. The soap performed well. Here's my lather:

There wasn't any alum feedback. Witch hazel and the AV Ice Bkue aftershave gave me a nice feeling. Take care.

In the distant future, perhaps 2025, I will pick another Wet the Face soap. It is a wonderful base. I just need to diminish the number of soaps in the dens by 10, samples and tubs. Only 9 more to go.

Hope you all have had an enjoyable day.
