  4. A winner of a shave this morning. Nice work at the Loading Dock to get set. I'm beginning to see the bottom of the puck. Clean and clear at the cheeks&sideburns....in fact EVERYWHERE. Goose-eggs for the cuts, Knicks, Polka-dots. 2 passes(same result for #2). Nice close from Clubman...I felt a "tingle" upon application at the cheeks&sideburns. I hope to do another round of Clubman before the heat&humdity arrive. As Outstanding As It Gets.

Pre shave oil - Art of Shaving
    Proraso Shaving Cream
    Brush - Fendrihan
    Razor - Schick Krona
    Blade - Treet Platinum
    Alum Block
    Aftershave - Old Spice

Shave Results 4 out of 5

Nice comfortable shave. Little sting from the alum block or aftershave, nice! Trying to stick with Krona for the rest of the month, although I have a new razor coming in. Might be tough lol!

The razor was supposed to be here today, but it seems to be stuck in Brooklyn. Oh well, it happens. It gave me a chance to have another great shave with the Krona. Very easy shaver for this newb.:happy088:

  14. April 13 SOTA

    Good afternoon.

    MicroTouch TTO
Dorco ST 300 DE Blade (4)
    Rockwell Synthetic Brush
Stirling Tsuka SS, AS and EdT
    Stirling Alum Block
    Personal Care Witch Hazel
    Beard Growth: 31 hrs

I am going out this evening so I needed a nice easy shave. I picked the MicroTouch razor because it's mild and does a nice job. Of course, I picked the Stirling Tsuka set because it is appropriate for this social event.
Heres my lather with my recently acquired SharpeShaver bowl:

I really could have called this shave after two passes, but I had enough soap and I prefer three passes. I got an error-free BBS shave. I did have to do some buffing, but that's the norm when I use mild razors. Alum feedback was more than slight on my neck, but nada everywhere else. Finished with the witch hazel and aftershave with the final spritzes of the EdT. Take care.
