I think it would be a good 3017 since I love the soap. If I recall correctly @Primotenore made a serious dent in a MdC brain bowl a couple of years back.
April 11, 2024 Asylum Rx V2 Kai Captain Protouch MG MrEE LE #004 Stirling Glacial Citron Shave Soap & Aftershave Happy Thursday. I am happy to see this week is just about over. A change of both hardware and software. The Asylum Rx V2 is supposed to be tamer than the original. If that's the case the original must be a true beast. This is by far my most aggressive artist club razor. This tub of Stirling Glacial Citron is used and has approximately 126 grams left. The lather this morning was simply fantastic. The face chill was very nice . The chill doubled down after using the matching splash. I am going to have a blast with this 3017. Take care and have a great day.
April 11th Barbasol Floating Head w Astra SP (1) APShave 2 Bed / MrEE Aluminum SV Desert Vetiver SS Thayers Fine Fresh Vetiver AS What a great soap and scent…alas, not a contender for the next focus. The Barbasol kept my attention, as always.
Thursday, April 11 XPEC~~Simpson 57~~Wolfman WR2/Personna 74~~Burt's Bees Bay Rum Late post, but a beautiful shave. I am getting comfortable with the not-so-ergonomic Darwin handle. The Wolfman has some teeth, so proper angle is priority-one.

Can’t remember the last time I used it. A decent lather…user error in not loading enough product today. Verdict: A real contender for the focus, but a lot of product left.

Saturday, April 13 XPEC~~Simpson "Rover"~~Feather AS-D2/Personna 74~~Vintage Aqua Velva I have made a serious dent in the XPEC. I don't XPEC it to last out the month. Still rockin' the Personna 74. These blades have some real longevity. Vintage AV for the finish.
It is was a busy week so time to catch up. I have been working on the Castle Forbes and hopefully it will finish this month. This week's theme is BIG, big brushes and big razors.
