The TSD Iced Lime Shave Stick lathered well with the Jayaruh #188 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Bunny V3 Injector by Tom and a Personna Injector blade and the WILD guard gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Razor : Gem MicroMatic Clog Pruf (Peerless 17 nibbed Safety Bar variant) Mfg 1945, mid range. Excellent design and stamping technology for that era with a rack & pinion blade clamping design that is very very rare in any razor ever made to date. Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning.
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE (7) Very sharp, excellent longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable + safest blade to handle!
Soap : Ach Brito Lavada cream, nice scented lavender with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi " Mountain lake" 24mm 2band badger. Excellent lather generator, pillow like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + great lather painter. One of my best badger brushes for performance handle ergonomics.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ach Brito splash cologne scented with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Gem Micromatic Clog Pruf with a coated Gem blade.

Shave of the Week Starting 15/04/2024

Very comfortable shave to start the week with. Using the APShave brush and Kent SS again cuz the work so well together and I get a fine lather from them. The Star/Treet combo is smooth and comfortable but it would be nice if it were a bit more effective. Maybe a blade change? We'll see. For now I'm ready to go. Now go enjoy your day folks.

The big Napoleon made quick work of the stubble leaving me smooth, smooth, smooth.

Finally used up the last of my small horde of T&H samples. I like the creams and the 1805 and Grafton were my favorite scents. The Ultimate Comfort may have offered just a little more protection, hard to say
