Razor : Yaqi 2nd Generation Mellon 316 SSP head with a Yaqi Chippendale 316 SSP handle. Mfg 2023>, mid range. The machining and finish QC are excellent and this razor just works for my mature technique and head design. This razor is based off "The Grande shave king razor" of the 1940's with many improvements like Stainless steel, no blade tab overhang and slightly more aggressive than the mild original 1940's Grand shave king razor variants. Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning.
Blade : Gillette 7oClock SP(3) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap : Razorock XXX Fresco slightly mentholated, nice XXX unique scented and similar to the RR XXX + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi " Lucky dice" 26mm brown whiskers synthetic fan knot. Excellent lather generator, luxury heavenly cloud like soft tips, luxury splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. This is a very nice brush for 26mm fan knot, they nailed it perfect for my shave needs, it does not get much better for myself for my brush Zen moment.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock XXX Fresco( slightly mentholated) with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning with my Yaqi 2nd gen 316 SSP razor with a Gillette 7oClock SP blade.

An awesome three pass BBS shave with my number one favourite cream that was such a great pleasure - it was like heaven to smell the wonderful old school scent that brought back memories of my youth, the lather was so thick, rich, as well as protective and super slick, the menthol sensation was so nice, and my skin felt like it was born again. The Prep and the Polar Ice aftershave were a perfect finishing combination. Now I’m ready to enjoy another relaxing day of retirement!

Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Injector and a Personna Injector blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lustray Spice After Shave. Razor : Yaqi Romulus 316SSP razor head with a Yaqi Chippendale 316 SSP handle. Tame mid range to mid range depending on blade or shim used. I like to assemble small head parts on a wash cloth seems easier. The razor is very nimble shave with and works well for my self. Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning.
Blade : Kai Captain titian mild (6) sharp and smooth with great longevity using this razor.
Soap : Razorock XXX Fresco, nice XXX scent similar to original XXX with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Bali" 24mm 3band silvertip badger. Excellent lather generator, luxury pillow like soft tips, nice splay Scrubber + great lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock XXX Fresco splash + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + 1 weeper= Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning with my Yaqu Romulus SE with a Kai Captain titian mild. (It does not get much better a shave for my self today!)
