SE SOTD, Friday, April 19th 2024 Razor : Yaqi Romulus 316SSP razor head with a Yaqi Chippendale 316 SSP handle. Tame mid range to mid range depending on blade or shim used. I like to assemble small head parts on a wash cloth seems easier. The razor is very nimble shave with and works well for my self. Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning. Blade : Kai Captain titian mild (6) sharp and smooth with great longevity using this razor. Soap : Razorock XXX Fresco, nice XXX scent similar to original XXX with excellent lather qualities. Brush : Yaqi "Bali" 24mm 3band silvertip badger. Excellent lather generator, luxury pillow like soft tips, nice splay Scrubber + great lather painter. Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area. Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups. Post shave : Razorock XXX Fresco splash + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless). Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + 1 weeper= Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning with my Yaqu Romulus SE with a Kai Captain titian mild. (It does not get much better a shave for my self today!) Have some great shaves!

Sunday SE SOTD, April 21, 2024 Razor : Yaqi Excalibur head with a Yaqi Milano 316 SSP handle, Mfg 2021, tame mid range. Simple design for clamping blade with small head parts( I assemble on a wash cloth seems to work better for myself). This was my first AC 50mm length bladed holding razor so I got use to using it and I receive good results regularly( The Yaqi Romulus is their 2nd variant AC razor and is excellent 316 SSP CNC machined razor that I enjoy slightly more but not by much than the Excalibur.) Had a close comfortable shave. Blade : Schick proline p30(1) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity. Soap : Razorock Emperor, nice sharp scent with a cologne twist to it + excellent lather qualities. Brush : Yaqi (Orbital ring) 24mm boar bristle brush. Excellent lather generator, soft tipped split-end boar bristle hairs, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area. Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups. Post shave : Razorock Emperor aftershave with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless). Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi Excalibur 50mm blade razor with a Schick proline blade. Have some great shaves!
