1. Anyone else use one? If so, which? Do you like it?

I just replaced my ROOMBA after 6 years. (It was reaching the end of its useful life.) Maybe it could have been repaired, but I wasn’t up for spending the money to find out. The new one is a Shark Matrix with some new fancy features.

It is self-emptying & has an anti-hair-wrap brush roll. I have long hair and it does get on vacuum cleaner rollers. The app is also a bit more sophisticated than the older ROOMBA app.

  2. But does it give the cat rides?

  3. Sorry, but my OCD can't handle a Roomba's return to base.

  4. No experience with Rhomba. But my wife wants me to buy a robot lawnmower.

  6. I bought my wife a Eufy 15C Max, two years ago. My wife was a little offended when I bought it for her. But, after 3 days, she named it Rosie and it has been indispensable. We use it almost every day. The floors are now clean, with no effort, other than emptying the bin.

I bought my 84 yr old mother a LeFant Robot Vac a couple of months ago. She was pissed off, but she now loves it. It can be programmed for about anything the high dollar ones can do. It cost $88 on Amazon sale. Now they are right at $200.

    Both were bought on Amazon.

  7. I wouldn’t know; we’re both allergic. But it’s just a matter if time before the bears get rides.

BTW, our ROOMBA was named Rosie. The new one is Count Vacula.
  8. Of course I'll have to herd up all the penguins first for their protection.

  9. A friend of mine named hers Rosie also.
After Rosie Jetson, in case it isn't obvious.

  10. Ours is named Rosie 2.0. recently replaced our 4 year old S6+ with a Dreame L10s Ultra.

Better obstacle avoidance, better suction, self cleaning/emptying, and mops. Better app too. The S6+ wasn't a bad vacuum but the Dreame is far superior.

  11. Just for fun, I did a search for names people give their robot vacuums. My favorites (other than the one I chose ) are Clean Latifah, Clean Elizabeth II and The Grim Sweeper.

  12. That is who we named her after. She is an indispensable part of the family, but can be annoying.
