  8. Very well-done shave this morning. There's a little bit more of the WTX soap left than of the Fine Latigo. The former should last until next fall. Good work at the Loading Dock for a soap that was quite thirsty. Clean and clear shave at the cheeks&sideburns-N. Porcupine, too. Could have done better on S. Porcupine(chin). Cactus Nation(neck)was fine. 2 passes. No cuts, Knicks, 2 Polka-dots. Hub City Soaps is based in Lubbock, TX, and is family-owned. Course we now see many family-owned artisan groups out there. The first one I knew about was Doc and Nurse Ezlovan and Stoylin. And speaking of Stoylin, their Unscented A.S. was a nice addition to the shave. I closed out with Millionaire cologne. Super Duper Outstanding.

    Good afternoon

    Dome Turf: 3 days

It was a combination face and headshave for me. I only needed 2 passes for my face for a near BBS shave without any errors. I could have gone for my usual 3rd pass, but I decided it was close enough. However, I did my usual 3 pass head shave with minor pickups for a bloodless cueball smooth shave. I didn't realize that I had that many uses on that blade before I shaved, but it was fine. I don’t want to push it so it is getting binned.

The Parker brush did a great job whipping up the lather, but in all fairness; Stirling soaps will provide a great lather regardless of the brush that is used. I must say it does have plenty of backbone. Usually, synthetic brushes don't, but I am not complaining. Here's my lather:

I didn't get any alum feedback from the face, neck or dome. Splashed on the witch hazel to treat the skin for any redness that may occur. I usually don't get any. Applied the matching aftershave and a few spritzes of the matching EdT and I smell clean and refreshed. Take care.
