    good morning gents
fine sunday shave with my other reserve set
i like the sun up scent, though it doesn't pair with much
    smooth 2 passer,minor pick ups.
    matching splash to finish.
between this and the waves set it could be a long 3017 challenge,
    but i must conquer it..;)
    awesome
    have a fine sunday everyone.

  4. My latest 3017 is a surprise entrant. For some reason my 5 year old cella has sprouted granular globules throughout, and has caused my neck tons of itching and irritation after the last few times I used it. Rather than risk leprosy, I’m pitching it. Back to my TOBS…

  5. Good move to ditch the offending soap, Randy. I hope things are improving with your shaves...and in real life.

ETHOS Lavender Suprême~~Semogue TSN Final Edition 1/50~~Dovo 91~~Caron Pour un Homme
This is an enjoyable 3017. I like this soap so much, repurchase is not off the table.
For now, superior suds and a lavender scent that is second to none.

Inspired by Clint to reach for the oft neglected EverReady. First pass was a little rough, but was fine and easy after that.
A windy, blustery day spent outside had me reach for the Emulsion. A quality product.

ETHOS Lavender Suprême~~Simpson PJ2~~Gillette (UK) Red Tip Super-Speed/Sharp Star~~Caron Pour Un Homme
I decided, after all, to move the soap into my Aesop bowl. It's easier to load.
The Sharp Star was on its last leg and loaded in the Red Tip was not the smoothest shave I have ever had.
I am really enjoying the Caron, but I have to say, it's more of a vanilla scent than a lavender scent.
Nevertheless, it's received the coveted SWMBOSOA®

Admittedly, I prefer DE or Injector shavers, but have had very good results the past two days with this EverReady.
    Take care all.

Happy Tuesday Everyone! I apologize for not posting but life happened. I did skip shaving on Saturday but I have shaved the other days. Everything just keeps rocking along with drama free shaves. Take care and have a great day.

a quick polish cleaned up the worn gold on the barn doors and handle
the big boars load these reserve soaps nicely, quickly and produce nice lathers.
grannie's handbag is the scent for today,
nice enough but won't go looking for more when its gone
smooth 2 passer with minor pick ups.
    matching splash to finish.
    awesome,

    ETHOS Lavender Suprême~~Semogue 2012 SE Mistura~~Cooper MonoBilt/Sharp Star~~Agua Lavanda Puig
As you can see, the product no resides in my Aesop SS bowl.
The Mistura loaded well and delivered with a modicum of scritch.
The Cooper, with a Sharp Star (previous usage undetermined), was efficient and left no marks.
A real lavender gem, the ALP is a glorious stank.
  15. Whilst glamping, my Texas amigo crafted me this cool brush/razor holder:

  18. Your Milord looks very classy, Gary. I like it!

Cool to see the Gillette instructions advocating a diagonal downward stroke. I usually don't do that, but it is a good reminder for me.

  19. thank you so much Charlie.i normally look for razors with intact plating but this one is mechanically perfect, was cheap ,and it's rarer than the Ranger Tech.it's worn in like a comfy set of boots,.i had a nice nickel plate version of this razor(Ranger Tech) some time back but it didn't shave as nice as this one, maybe something was out of adjustment.either way, pristine looks don't guarentee pristine shaves.:):eatdrink047:
  20. It was my friend's design 100%. Truth is, I have no place to hang it, so everything has been returned to their original places.
