Shark blades have not given me the best shaves either. Not sure what it is, but they have twice left me with neck irritation and some weepers.

    Great post.

Love all the Tech ads. Very cool. Does your Tech still have the Gillette logo stamped on the head? I ask because I was going to have mine replated, but then you lose the logo. And the Tech seems to be the only one that has that logo stamped on it. I wonder why?

thank you.:)please post a pic, mine has the gillette logo stamped underneath like all gillettes do,but not anywhere else.the 1951 and newer 3 piece techs are etched or engraved on the caps but nothing else to my knowledge.

A little tough to see, but it's stamped on the head.

i think we are getting wires crossed.gillette called the early Milord and \Ranger TTO razors "tech" on their packaging. The "Tech" razors are 3 piece with separate cap, baseplate and handle,Made since 1939 -74.They are only called techs in North America also.:)

yes, correct.you would lose the gillette if you replated it.
gillette called their Milord and Ranger series TTO razors Techs also.

I never get bored with your vast knowledge of Gillette razors Gary. In fact, I think you can hold your own with Matt Pisarcik of Razor Emporium in a Gillette trivia contest.

Excellent final shave of the month. The TI always performs well. The Whipped Dog boar brush whipped up a nice creamy lather sufficient for 3 passes and one post shave load with some left over.

The two Joes, @Trigger and myself, had our monthly breakfast. We discussed a variety of topic both shave related and otherwise. You just can shut either one of us up.

Hope you all are having a fine day.
