1. That’s a beautiful watch! They make great daily drivers.

To be honest, I did have to be without it for a few weeks about 9 years in when it got sent to Omega for its scheduled maintenance. That was so tough staring multiple times a day at my bare wrist out of habit. I was so glad to get it back when they were done. They even sent it with a bag of all of the worn, original parts that were replaced in the service. Omegas are amazing!

  2. Yours looks in great shape after all these years. I had mine serviced last year.
  3. It’s a total work horse, and it seems impervious to my constant abuses. I still love it like it was brand new.

If you ever see a stopped Timex Dynabeat or Electric for cheap, grab it. A fresh 303 battery might get it running. I've had better luck with them than with their old winders (sorry, John Cameron).

Been wanting one of this style but don't want to pay for a Hamilton. This'll do fine and it's about the right size (36mm or so). A khaki cotton strap would be a precise match but not gonna be anal about it.
  9. I like that one.

    Ol' reliable.
  11. A classic. Where did you find it? I was fortunate to pick up a similar style awhile back. These old Seiko 5's are some of my favorites.

  14. Been on the lookout for this slim simple Skagen for over 10 years. It will replace several. Leather band was shot so a seatbelt NATO will do for now.

  19. So crazy thing, Ive always liked watches and just never really worn them. The only 2 that were recent acquisitions are the Gillette digital and my sons old Apple watch he gave me.

Recently I was going to through my junk drawer/bins and found my old casio, then found my dads old seiko. Then as I was rummaging some more I came across the kenneth cole my ex got me as well as a few that I dont recall how I got. There are a couple of gold plated citizens and a Hamilton that had a native american style band. Lol I really am stumped on the citizens and the Hamilton. I believe i got these in some lots that I purchased just for a razor. Either way as I was doing some research turns out the Hamilton is an expensive watch that I really was going to chuck in the garbage or list on ebay with some other junk as a junk drawer lot. Lol glad I didnt.

I went and got batteries changed in the kenneth cole, casio, seiko and plan on using them. The Hamilton will be getting a new band just not sure what yet. I have a feeling these watches are gonna send me down another rabbit hole.
