A lulu of a Grand Freeze this morning!

My wife walked by my bathroom (she has hers and I have mine!) and she said she could smell the Glacial Obsidian soap when I was lathering up and shaving - man oh man do I ever LOVE its black licorice scent, it lathers like a beast, the menthol sensation is killer cold, and it has the typical fantastic Stirling skincare. The Stoffel balm from Bundubeard is another menthol atom bomb with a lovely peppermint scent and it’s so soothing as well as extremely moisturizing. Finally a couple of generous splashes of the Floid Vigoroso aftershave and my wife said that I smelled like an old barber - that’s how I love to smell. (she’s so cute!)Three glorious passes gave me a super duper BBS shave that was so frigid and delightful!

Did I ever enjoy the Glacial MITA this morning - this soap has exactly the same lovely citrusy/tropical scent as the regular version with the same great, slick lather but the menthol sensation is much more intense, and the postshave feeling is so awesome. The Stoffel balm provides such wonderful soothing as well as moisturizing along with tons of menthol goodness, and the Rubby Dubby Doo is another menthol atom bomb. Finally the gorgeous Bleu de Chanel fragrance and I’m ready to enjoy another day of retirement - hey, it’s Victoria Day here in Canada! Three passes resulted in a picture perfect BBS shave that was such a frozen delight!

I have no idea about the Wm Neumann Absolute Zero soap but I can tell you guys: This version from Captain Nemo is LETHALLY cold - so cold that it outdoes the Stirling Glacials and the Chiseled Face Cryogen although not by much. This soap is vegan based, I love its aquatic/minty scent, it lathers beautifully and with such ease, the menthol sensation jumps on you immediately, and it gives so much soothing - it’s extremely skin friendly. The matching balm (that’s really what it is!) has the same nice scent, it’s so moisturizing as well as freezing, and the Snake Bite aftershave is another menthol atom bomb. Last but not least the gorgeous Bleu de Chanel fragrance that I love so much. Three glorious passes gave me a brilliant BBS shave that was such a frozen pleasure!

What can I say - the scent of this Frosted Lavender soap and aftershave is so GORGEOUS - to me it’s the most magnificent lavender scent I’ve ever experienced. The soap is tallow based like all of Fernando’s soaps, it’s such a fantastic latherer, the slickness is awesome, the menthol sensation is not for the faint of heart because it’s Stirling Glacial cold, and the skincare is wonderful. The Stoffel balm from Bundubeard is a peppermint scented menthol monster with great soothing as well as moisturizing, and the Frosted Lavender aftershave gives nothing but frigid love and its delightful scent. Last but not least the heavenly Bleu de Chanel fragrance and everything is under control. Three glorious passes did me proud - a dynamite BBS that was sheer perfection and so enjoyable!

After using this setup I think my face will need all day to thaw out - my Lord, this Glacial Electric Sheep is a menthol atom bomb. Like the regular version of Electric Sheep it’s mutton tallow based with the same lovely citronella/lemony/eucalyptus scent, it gives brilliant lather with so much slickness, the menthol sensation is enough to knock down a horse, but the postshave feeling is so soothing and comfortable. The Stoffel balm from Bundubeard is incredibly moisturizing, I love its peppermint scent, and is it ever freezing cold. Finally the Floid Vigoroso aftershave went on with its gorgeous old school barbershop scent and a terrific menthol punch. Three passes gave me one helluva great BBS shave that was sheer rapture!

What a delightful soap and aftershave this Glacial Frozen Tuxedo are - they’re renamed after originally being called Eskimo Tuxedo because of some controversy that unfairly targeted Rod. The scent is absolutely BEAUTIFUL - it’s Green Irish Tweed all the way or Sharp Dressed Man but with killer cold menthol. I had so much joy lathering up the soap and the slickness had my razor skating across my face. The Prep felt so moisturizing as well as soothing and the Glacial Frozen Tuxedo aftershave gave me its frigid menthol kick along with its heavenly scent. Another dynamite three pass BBS shave to start off the week - it was such a pleasure!

Wow, if this setup doesn’t freeze your face off then nothing will - the Glacial Mango Sunrise is a bona fide menthol atom bomb with a gorgeous scent, the lather is sumptuous - so easy to work up, it has the signature Stirling slickness, the menthol sensation can freeze a polar bear’s butt off, and the postshave feeling is wonderful. The Stoffel balm from Bundubeard has a nice peppermint scent, it’s so moisturizing as well as soothing, and it gives a STRONG menthol effect. The Citrus Melody aftershave is an awesome creation from my brother Fernando in Johannesburg, South Africa and it smells amazing not to mention how frigid it is. Last but not least the magnificent Bleu de Chanel fragrance and I’m good to go. Three passes gave me a beautiful BBS shave that was so much fun!

Did I ever freeze my face off this morning - this Glacial Citron soap and aftershave are the cat’s meow - the scent is so beautiful as well as refreshing and invigorating. The soap provided tons of thick, rich, super slick lather with plenty of cushion, the menthol sensation felt killer cold, and the postshave feeling was wonderful. The Gold Bond moisturizer and the Glacial Citron aftershave were a perfect finishing combination. Man oh man what a cracking good three pass BBS shave this was and I enjoyed it to the max!

A sensational Grand Freeze!

Brrrrrrrrrrrrr cold and beautiful is the way to describe the scent of the Glacial Iceberg Island soap and aftershave - this is one of the newer Glacial scents that Rod and Mandy released this year. I had such tremendous lather from the soap, that gorgeous scent filled my bathroom, the menthol sensation froze my face to smithereens, and the postshave feeling was delightful - so soothing as well as comfortable. The Gold Bond moisturizer gave me lots of extra soothing along with a nice menthol coolness, and the Glacial Iceberg Island aftershave froze me out completely along with its magnificent scent - my wife loves it on me. Three glorious passes gave me a super duper easy peasy BBS shave that was so enjoyable!

Iceberg Island(Stoylin)was my contribution to Menthol Monday(7-29). It's very nice. I read somewhere that(in so many words) "You can't go wrong with blue soap". I'll probably do a review for Doc Ezlovan's website soon.

My face is so frozen from using this Frosted Lavender soap and aftershave - my dear brother Fernando created two treasures that have such an amazing scent. The soap provides fabulous lather, it has an incredible menthol sensation that competes with any of the Stirling Glacials and the skincare is perfect. The Gold Bond moisturizer and the Frosted Lavender aftershave were so soothing as well as icy cold. Finally the magnificent Bleu de Chanel fragrance and I’m good to go. Three glorious passes gave me a brilliant BBS shave that was such a pleasure!
