Shave of the Week Starting 5/6/2024 Gillette New razor (short comb) Astra SP blade Shave Revolution Synthetic brush Col Conk Southwest Sun SC Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe Various A/S Found the Col Conk in my stash of stuff and decided to use it this week. Been awhile but it works pretty well, gives a thick cushiony lather that has a very nice scent. Kinda citrus and floral combined. Nice scent aside, it probably won't be my favorite cream but it's satisfactory. My face is content today. Now go enjoy your day folks.
Fine shave to close out(for now)the Tobacco offerings. I didn't know how I'd do, with my Clubman brush. Now don't get excited @clint64, and @wristwatchb, you know I love Clubman in general, just not the brush that much. But in the end, this was a Technique Trumps Tools(brush)shave. I do feel I've gravitated towards making softer strokes. Maybe not at a 100%clip, but I'm getting there. Clean&clear all the way. Zeroes across the board in cuts, Knicks, Polka-dots. 2 pbasses. I'd like to do a little better at loading, but that's been better than in the past. I wouldn't be mistaken for a Santa Claus clone. Anyway.....As Outstanding As It Gets.
