Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Omega 10066.
Face Lather.
Lather: La Barbiera Sweet Orange Shaving Soap.
Blade: Dorco Prime Platinum. (D2)
Razor: Yaqi DOC Mellon Razor Head w/Schmidt R10 Handle.

Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, /Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Duru Mandarin Cologne./Bulldog Original ASB.

Greetings,

Second outing of the La Barbiera Sweet Orange shaving soap which provided a slick protection lather in a short space of time.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Bulldog Original ASB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

This brush has rapidly become a favourite of mine. The brush tips are so soft. I'm tending to use it more often.
Got tired of the Lea puck rattling around the bowl I had, so I grated it. The puck, not the bowl!

The Arko Shave Stick lathered well with the Jayaruh #119 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Superior Lather Catcher Razor and the Personna GEM SS PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Mennen Skin Bracer After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Chabrawichi 555 Cologne (from Egypt)

Such a delightful and refreshing setup on a beautiful sunny morning - my dear brother Abir who owns Captain Nemo produces fantastic soaps and aftershaves. The Explosion de Cedrat is vegan based like all the other soaps from this company, it has a lovely lemony/lime scent, it gives awesome lather that’s so slick, there’s a pretty good amount of menthol in it, and it’s so skin friendly. The Kaffir Lime aftershave toner is so beautifully scented, it’s very moisturizing as well as soothing, and there’s no shortage of menthol in this stuff. Finally the Chabrawichi 555 cologne which is so cheap in Egypt has a really pleasant lemony/lavender scent and it can also be used as an aftershave. Three slow, relaxing passes gave me a magnificent BBS shave that I enjoyed immensely. I’ll be spending the day with the wife, the daughter, and my brother-in-law and my sister-in-law as well as my in-laws!

I think they’re excellent blades for my skin and whiskers. Not the sharpest, but smooth, consistent and reliable. They never fail to satisfy. They were the first blades I bought in bulk, and luckily still have ~200 remaining in my stash. I use them now with a rationing mentality (like Med Preps). I thought they were long gone from the marketplace, but just last week learned that Fendrihan still has inventory available, and for a reasonable price! It’s now or never if you’re looking to stock up. If you’d like to sample a few, send me a PM.

Here is my Sunday Shave (26.05.2024)


Razor: Mühle Rocca Jet // Blade: Gillette Platinum // Soap: BBS Soaps American Barbershop // Brush: Omega 10098 // Aftershave: Alum - Thyers WH - BBS Soaps American Barbershop

Did i tell how much i love the Rocca and absolutely outstanding this razor is? No? Now you know…

What a wonderful shave this was. Smooooooooooooth, gentle and comfortable.

The brush whipped up tons of creamy, luxurious lather. The scent of the soap is very very good. Different from any „typical“ Barbershop scent out there but in more than positive way. It´s an „Orkmoss forward“ scent.

So the Rocca had no problems and only needed 2 passes to get me absolutely BBS. The audio feedback and the feeling while shaving is awesome. For me, definetly one of THE best razors on earth.

The Alum brought no stinging, the Witch Hazel felt very refreshing so as the Aftershave did. The scent is identical and the Aftershave has a wonderful skincare and lasts quite some time.

As you can see, i had a blast. Lovely shave.
