The soap is very good imo. It's gives an excellent, slick lather. I don't know what the scent notes are supposed to be, but it smells like coconut to me. I don't think it's supposed to, but I like it.

West Coast Shaving No.1 Gatsby
has a cologne like scent to me. I'm glad I purchased it.
I've seen WCS has a V2 Gatsby with added citrus and skin friendly ingredients. I haven't seen any reviews on it.

Lather: Proraso Eucalyptus & Menthol Shaving Soap.
Blade: Dorco Prime Platinum. (D4)
Razor: Parker Razor Head w/Mühle R89 Handle.

Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, /Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Proraso Eucalyptus & Menthol ASL./Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

Early morning shave,

A wonderful performance from the Franken-razor/Dorco Prime Platinum duo to finish my shaving week off & month off on a high note.

My main highlights of the month have been my Reacquaintance with Ming Shi 2000s Futur clone & Dorco Prime Platinum blade both have performed superbly throughout the month. Throughout June I will be returning to my Parker razor collection using the Parker Adjustable Injector & Variant for my combined face & head shaves and various other Parker DE razors for my face shaves paired together with the Treet Platinum DE blades.

A comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face is feeling cool smooth & smelling divine.
