May 29, 2024 High Proof Razor Tatra Alpha Outlaw Master Soap Creations Frosted Bay Rum Barberry Coast Bay Rum Aftershave Happy Wednesday Everyone. I had to change the blade from the Tatra to a 7 O'clock Yellow after the first stroke. The Tatra was tugging so badly it was impossible to continue the shave. Once that issue was addressed the shave continued without drama. The High Proof Razor takes all the good things of the OneBlade and does away with the Feather FHS blades. I do enjoy using this razor. Wednesday, May 29 ETHOS Lavender Suprême~~Simpson CH2~~1958 D3 Gillette Adjustable/Voskhod~~Thor's Hammer bay Rum w/Lime Went with the same lineup as yesterday. As you can clearly see, I have made short work of the ETHOS. I'll finish 'er off tomorrow. The Thor's Hammer, while refreshing is disappointedly short-lived.

May 31, 2024 High Proof Razor Gillette 7 O’clock Yellow Rubberset 400 #3 Master Soap Creations Frosted Bay Rum Dehn El Oud Malaki Happy Friday Everyone! The software side of this morning's shave was fantastic. I think I pushed the blade 1 shave too far resulting in a shave that was not as smooth or as close as the shave yesterday. Lesson learned, 2 shaves per 1/2 blade and done on this razor. The Oud has left me smelling fantastic even if I am working alone from home. Take are and have a great day.

Friday, May 31 Chiseled Face Civet~~Kent BK8~~1947 Gillette Super-Speed/Voskhod~~Amouage Gold This shave is dedicated to @Keithmax Master Enabler and Stank-Master Extraordinaire. My first Kent and it's a beaut. Not floppy at all. Loose knot-yes. Excellent flow-thru. Soft as a bunny. The Civet soap was a gift from our S.Korean friend. Fine product. Finished with a stank that---hopefully, Keith would approve of, Amouage Gold. Their very first foray into stanks.
The donut of death is rapidly expanding! It should not be long now. The steel selections were, Riga Razor, PRC kami and Rocnel-G. Next week I will break out the big brushes and try to finish this soap off.
Saturday, June 1 Fine Lavender Pour Homme~~Kent BK8~~RazoRock Game Changer .84 OC/Voskhod~~Caron Pour Un Homme Before choosing my next victim, I am going to play the field. Today, I wanted to test the soft knot of the Kent against the extra-hard Fine soap. I am not afraid to put some H2O on the puck whilst showering. The trick to loading such a knot is not to hold the handle, but rather, firmly hold the knot-itself at the base. This will stiffen the knot and achieve easier results. The Voskhod is on its third shave and "maybe" I'll try to use it again tomorrow. The Caron stank dates back to 1934. Pour Un Homme de Caron by Caron is an Aromatic fragrance for men. Pour Un Homme de Caron was launched in 1934. The nose behind this fragrance is Ernest Daltroff. June 1, 2024 Karve “D” SB Gillette 7 O’clock Yellow Shavemac D01 Flat Top Master Soap Creations Frosted Bay Rum Pour Un Homme by Caron Men Happy Saturday Everyone! I have not used the Karve razor in a long time so I decided to give it a go. The shave was smooth, close and drama free. I really can't ask for more. @Primotenore recommended Pour Un Homme by Caron Men to me. His post this morning inspired me to give it a go. I picked up very nice lavender and citrus notes that have dried down to a wonderful vanilla musk scent. This scent is a winner that will be easy to wear for various occasions. Thanks for the recommendation, @Primotenore
