    Soap: Arko stick

    Today's shave stuff:

    IMG_20240504_233324_kindlephoto-963676277.jpg

I stayed with the stripped down shave setup again while continuing to focus on the injector blades. However, I am not doing so well at keeping my shave intervals consistent so each shave deals with whiskers of the same length and toughness. I suspect that variable would have a much greater impact on blade longevity than the brand of soap or brush used.

To be honest, as long as I use the same razor, I rather doubt that changing out soaps or creams, brushes or aftershave products will affect the number of shaves the blade lasts. In other words, I am tired of using Arko and want to switch things up...

The Arko did provide the usual easy and plentiful lather. And my usual two passes took me back to cleanshaven with no errors.

I then spent the morning at our local university's convocation ceremony, where my niece received her degree - a four-year Bachelor of Science in Archaeology with Great Distinction.

She now intends to spend even more years at university obtaining a Masters. And possibly eventually a PhD. I believe this will then enable her to obtain employment either as a History Channel program host or as a grocery store clerk...
  15. Excellent post and shave John. Congratulations to your niece graduating college.
