I will be doing more open blade shaves this month so I went with my Friodur.
I picked Stirling Tsuka because I haven't used it in awhile. Here's my lather:



Three error-free passes gave me a super shave. There was very little alum feedback. I splashed on the witch hazel and that wonderful matching aftershave. Since I am not going to a social event, I decided against the matching EdT. Take care.

Another good one this morning.About 0:45 at the Loading Dock, as the soap sppears to jump onto the brush at a quicker rate than others I've used. When I first joimed here, the standard time for loading was always 0:20. What soaps were THEY using, I wonder? Or maybe they had that fast motion of loading that I never had. ANYWAY.....clean and clear all around. Zero cuts, Knicks, Polka-dots. 2 passes. I almost stopped at just the first(pass), but decided to go ahead with the second. Yardley(New York)A.S. again to finish. Really nice. As Outstanding As It Gets.

The Goodfellas' Smile Abysso Shaving Soap & ASL duo which provided me with an exceptional shave the lathering performance of the Abysso shaving soap is superb providing a great slick protective wonderfully scented lather in a short space of time. The matching ASL finishes the shave off excellently.

A comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

Nice thick ‘n slick lather

Shaving pressure: different razors allow for different amounts of pressure. Different parts of the face need/can tolerate different pressure. The chubby parts of the face can tolerate more, the thinner parts eg the neck and Adam’s apple don’t

I have to say the Astra felt nice and smooth, but I suspect this is more a combination of prep, lather, razor and technique, either way I landed up pretty much BBS all over

Will be travelling on Sunday for a week: still need to decide on what shaving gear to take with
