Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: La Barbiera Summer Fruit Shaving Soap.

The La Barbiera shaving soap provided a wonderful slick protective lather in a short space of time leaving a great post shave feel.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

Here my Sunday Shave (16.06.2024)


Razor: Razorine Brass // Blade: Gillette Platinum // Soap: PAA Harvest Moon // Brush: Brass Synthetic // Aftershave: Alum - PAA Harvest Moon

A good shave. It took a few strokes to get the Razorine dialed in because the angele and the handling are different when you have not used it for a long time, but after that the shave went good.

3 passes and i was socially acceptable. Not BBS but sometimes i am not chasing for a BBS shave. Harvest Moon is a fantastic scent and performer. I really love this scent.

Applied the Alum which had bites to it as well as the Aftershave.

It was a 8 out of 10 today.

Unfortunately not, the Shulton Old Spice was actual in the 60´s / 70´s if i am right. Actually the Old Spice is produced by Procter & Gamble and the scent is absolutely not identical. The Shulton Old Spice smells MUCH MUCH better and even the skin care is way better. My skin does not like the actual Old Spice at all, but loves the Shulton formular.

This Glacial Cedar soap and aftershave were belated birthday gifts from one of my best friends and do I ever LOVE them. The scent is absolutely MAGNIFICENT and when I say MAGNIFICENT I mean MAGNIFICENT. Along with the cedar I seem to detect a trace of lemon - the soap is such a pleasure to lather, the slickness is so awesome, the menthol sensation is………WICKED, and the postshave feeling is so soothing as well as comfortable. The Gold Bond moisturizer gave me lots of additional chilling love, and the Glacial Cedar aftershave went on frigidly cold along with its delightful scent that my wife also loves. What a super duper three pass BBS shave this was - oh la la!
