Thursday morning’s Grand Freeze: L’Oréal Men Expert Facial Wash Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Canadian Tech/new Wilkinson Sword Bundubeard Kameelperd’s Kick SS Gold Bond Moisturizer Alt Innsbruck AS Splash It’s been a little while since I used my Kameelperd soap so it was a good idea to go with it this morning. Man oh man it has such a great coffee/peppermint scent, it lathers like a champ, even though it’s glycerine based it has tons of slickness, it’s so powerfully mentholated that it’s easily a match for any of the Stirling Glacials, and it gives such a soothing, comfortable postshave feeling. Strangely enough the Gold Bond moisturizer works so well as a balm, and the Alt Innsbruck aftershave went on icy cold along with its beautiful old school European scent that I love so much. Friday morning: King C. Gillette Facial Wash Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Canadian Tech/Wilkinson Sword day 2 PAA Cold Spices SS Gold Bond Moisturizer PAA Cold Spices AS Splash Truth be told I do like the Cold Spices soap and aftershave a lot but I don’t love them. Yes, the scent is very close to the Shulton Old Spice but the menthol sort of blurs it a little. The soap lathers very well, it has a lot of slickness, it’s fairly mentholated - in fact like I said, this is what takes away from the scent, and it’s decent in the skincare. The Gold Bond moisturizer is so soothing, and the Cold Spices aftershave went on good and chilly. Three passes gave me a great BBS shave but I think I’m going to leave this soap and aftershave alone for a good while. Wishing you all a nice weekend - see you tomorrow!
