Two passes and touch ups with the Weck Sextoblade and the Personna Super Stainless Hair Shaper blade gave me a close, comfortable shave.     Just a lovely shave this morning with the Gillette Post-War Tech. Super smooth with a Feather that actually provides a very close shave while still being very comfortable on the skin. It's an amazing performer. Great shaves to all...

    DE SOTD, Saturday, July 20th 2024


    Razor : Razorock Wunderbar slant 316SSP with a modified Gem Micromatic (Mfg 1932-41) handle. Wunderbar slant Mfg 2017>, mid to upper mid range, Excellent machining + finish QC for my shaving needs. light touch, short handle and Steep angle(riding the bar) gives me excellent results. Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning.
    Blade : GSB (2) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity. Top tier blade in my den!
    Soap : Razorock XXX Fresco, nice clean cologne XXX fresh scent (some Methanol) with excellent lather qualities.
    Brush : Yaqi "Atlantis" 24mm g4 type of knot. Excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. Closet synthetic brush to a 2band badger IMO.
    Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
    Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass XXX Fresco (some methanol) with witch hazel+ a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
    Results : Dial 10 stellar.jpg or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers=[​IMG] Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning with my RR Wunderbar slant with a GSB blade. Very good slant shaving this morning.
