Mfg 2023>, mild to tame mid range depending on blade or Gap used. excellent machining + finish QC make for a decent nimble shave. Had a close comfortable shave this morning. Blade : Kai Captain titian mild(9) sharp and smooth with excellent longevity using this razor, not sure how longevity is better but it seems to be. Soap : Yaqi "The Green", very nice fresh evergreen natural forest scented with excellent lather qualities. Brush : Yaqi "Viper" 24mm boar bristle hair brush. Excellent lather generator, soft split end bristle hair tips, nice splay scrubber + great lather painter. One of my favorite boar brushes for looks and performance + not a lather hog! Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area. Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups. Post shave : Yaqi "The Green" with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless). Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi Romulus SE 316SS razor with a Kai Captain titian mild blade. Have some great shaves!

GEMonday, July 22nd, 2024 Razor : Gem Junior bar 1907-11 Lather catcher with stropping attachment in the handle. Mfg 1907-11, mild range. Excellent lather catcher and great for folks who like to buff a little. The razor is brass stamped out with a with beautiful script on the razor back with a Nickel coating. This razor was a master piece for the bar securing the blade and giving operator better protection in lather catchers of that era. This razor is very smooth and I feel confident when wielding it across my face. Had a close comfortable shave this morning. Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE(4) very sharp, excellent longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable + safest blade to handle. Soap : Ach Brito Lavanda, very nice mild scented lavender with a touch of peppermint <(?), with excellent lather qualities. Brush : Yaqi "Moka Express" 26 mm synthetic brush. Excellent lather generator, luxury heavenly cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. Very nice brush to work the face. Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area. Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups. Post shave : Ach Brito Lavanda with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless). Excellent machining and finish + design QC. Small head parts make for a nimble shave that I find very enjoyable. Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning. Blade : Kai Captain titian mild(10) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity. The best 50mm AC I have ever used with this razor. Soap : Gillette Pure cream, nice clean scented soap with excellent lather qualities. Makes excellent ubber lather with remnants of other soaps also. Brush : Yaqi "Moka express" 24mm synthetic. Excellent lather generator, luxury cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area. Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups. Post shave : Ach Brito Lavanda with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
