Just a friendly caution to other users of this site. I had someone sign up today and offer a razor I was looking for that was being sold by "his father" and gave me an email address to reply to.

No pictures or other support for a razor >$200 new.

Just got a second message from another user that also created their account today!

Be careful with your money on this site as it seems the scammers are farming it for $$$.

I'll be on the lookout.

most folks don't buy from new sellers here..they buy from members they know and trust..thankfully..

Same thing happened on a pipe board. Newbie saw a mention I'd made and wanted me to contact a Yahoo mail address to buy. I didn't know Yahoo was still even a thing but, nope.

Yes as the old saying goes, Caveat emptor .... Please if anyone runs across this type of problem Please report it to a member of the sites staff so that they can deal with it !! Also remember to include the users username so it will be easier for the staff to be able to locate the member in question , its as simple as copying and pasting the nefarious members name into the report.... Please be careful with who you deal with and ALWAYS remember if somethig seems too good to be true then it probably isn't true... I prefer to use the BST section for making purchases if I'm gonna buy somethig or make sure it is a trustworthy member ... You can usually and almost Always ask other members about someone you are interested in buying from because most people here will usually give honest feedback about it .. Be safe everybody and I wish that you guys and gals always are able to have happy purchases !!!!

It's happened to me a while back. Guess those scammers are at it again. And as @Queen of Blades mentioned, "report" it.
